Greeble building at World Expo Shanghai206 viewsI kid you not, this is a REAL BUILDING at the Shanghai World Expo this year. Obviously designed with Greeble! Unbelievable!

Big Cube On Rails825 viewsHaving another look at a process idea from studio last spring.

Laid out the city first then greebled the buildings up with no details. Really just using the tool as a random extrude. Took care of the roof parapets. Then selected some roofs for a little more detailing. I'm pleased with how Greeble helped reduce the amount of time consuming tedium involved.

Lost [on the] highway, part 001760 viewsLooong time ago I modeled thoose buildings in amapi1 something. So the geometry is very light: perfect for a greeble! Few days ago I MoGraph cloned it and gat a city ready background. I post it because without the background, wich IS greebling stuff, I could not have done the image like I wanted to. Just tell me if it's not enough greeble like, I'll post city view only, or erase it :)shtl

hill town 04 031175 viewsExperimental, not finished presentation. Well, I guess none of mine are.

Something from Ollle got me thinking and something from the "new features" manual got me thinking. And I got playing. And I got looking and I'm making some interesting progress in my controlled random explorations.

I suppose the next step is to apply the ideas to a single building or space.

Planes Out884 viewsStarted with a few boxes arranged like a building. Scattered a simple plane on it. Tweaked scale and offsets. Then um... 3x3x3 FFD maybe? All part of my greater project of understanding a kind of greebly business and complexity so that someday it may be my servant.gruhn
